I love my little lady, but I need to get out!! And tonight I am doing just that. Hopefully I don't get to much separation anxiety. Who am I kidding, give me an hour and I'll be showing pictures of her from my camera to everyone in the club.

We shall see.

Just because I cant make a post with out a picture here is the little lady that is waiting for me at her grandmothers house.

9 months

9 months ago I gave birth to this beauty!

WTH why is time going by so quickly?!

My baby is turning into a big girl.

She eats just about everything. Honestly she never says no to anything.
She does this shy thing when someone else comes around, she will lay her head on my chest or what ever is closer to her. Can I just say CUTEST THING EVER!!
She says papa, dada, tata anything that has to do with daddy. No mama!!

She crawls/drags herself. Sometimes shes lazy doesn't want to pick her head up that's when she drags herself.
Her favorite shows are Yo Gabba Gabba, Blues clues, and Jacks big music show.

She has a temper. OH BOY does she have one!! She was once this quiet baby that didn't cry much. Now I dare you to take what she has in her hands or refuse to give her what you're eating, it will not be a pretty sight!

She waves and claps.

She loves AnnMarie, all little kids in fact. She screech's when they're around.

Isla likes to play this "game" where she throws what ever she has in her hands off the bed and waits for you to pick it up and if you take to long she will try to go get it. She is the only one that like to play this game. Bee and I do not!

She plays this other game where she crawls away from you laughing because she wants you to chase her. Can I say it again CUTEST THING EVER!

She wants to be with her mama 98% of the time. I cant blame her we are best friends. Shes my everything. I may want a break here and there but I always come running back.

Oreos

I have an addiction.
It is Oreo's.
I cant eat them with milk, in my ice cream, in a shake, with fudge, fried, in my cereal, or straight out the bag.
They were there for me after I gave birth to Isla..
All 280 of them.
I ate them for breakfast, dinner and lunch.
I blame them for my weight gain!

I have to admit I think Isla is addicted to them too..

Why the long break

We wont be seeing anymore of this around here!
Not with Islas name on it at least!
-----------------------------
A few weeks ago we can tell that Isla wasn't feeling well. Her eyes were droopy, she didn't want to eat her food. She had a bad cold, would tug on her ear, and was really hot. So we decided to take her to the emergency room. She had a Fever of over 100 degrees and a double ear infection.

So the doctor prescribed her amoxicillin and some saline drops here and there. Then it happened.....
3 days later after her first dose of the medicine she broke out in hives all over her body. Red itchy bumps that looked so painful!
(pictures do no justice...It looked really bad)

Back to the E.R. we went and 3 out of the 4 doctors that looked at her said she was allergic to the medicine(the one that didn't was crazy!).

They took her off of the medicine, gave me lots of creams for the itch and put her on benadryl.
It hurt me so much to see her feel this way. I would help her scratch when I saw she was itchy. There wasn't much I could do I felt helpless. People would see her in the streets and say "aw she has a heat rash"..If it was only so simple. Although I do thank God it was only a rash, I read some really bad stories about other babies that were allergic to the medicine.
My baby is all better now. We have our happy playful baby back!!
