Good girl

Not for nothing but after the "incident" that happened last week she has been on a roll!! Literally on a roll. She wont stop rolling. The minute you lay her down shes off! She was turning over before but only from her belly to her back. Now she turns over from her back onto her belly then over to her back then over and over and over until we pull her foot back over to the middle of the bed. It funny because she always gets her arm stuck when she gets on her belly and you see her wiggle it out.

(can you see the stuck arm?)
She also says PAPA!! That trader!! It started as "papa" but now turned into "Dada" and sometime "TaTa". Its the cutest thing when she says it! She looks like a frog.

She also CUT A TOOTH!!!!!!!

So that's rolling over, saying "papa", and a tooth all in one week!! Take your time baby girl. Your growing up to fast! I promise not to drop you again, if you promise not to grow to quickly!

Baby baby

Baby baby baby. Seems like I never have anything else to write about if its not about her. When you spend so much time with someone its hard not to only speak about them.
Isla in her monkey stance. lol Shes trying! Hopefully soon enough she will be able to sit up. If not she will have to monkey it out. : )

Someone please tell her that crack is whack!--------------------------------------------------------

Poor girl she cried right before this picture. See that hair bow was hanging on by a strand of hair, and I did just about anything to get it on. I cant get enough of girly things. Hair bows, headbands and tights! The longer the hair the bigger the bow. I cant wait for her hair to get a little longer. Etsy Is going to leave me broke. I just finished buying a mess of girly things like these. They are Itty bitty baby clippies hopefully these will hold on. Until then headbands it is!

Fine dining

Liquid gold isn't the only thing she eats.
First was the oatmeal. She didn't like it to much.
*note to self do not feed solids after bathing the baby, and absolutely do not feed the baby when she is sleepy.

Then the carrots. She loved the carrots.

*another note to self take caution when the baby is going to sneeze, do not have food in her mouth. Make sure you clean the inside her nose after each feeding or she will have dry pieces of carrot in her nose!

sweet potatoes next.

Big girl

My computer is done for. so lets recap this week before it shuts off.

When did my baby get so big?

She's 16 lbs 14 oz and 25.3 in in length.

The doctor typed it in, looked at me and said "you know that babies are supposed to double their birth weight at 6 months and triple it at 12" I swear its all breast milk with very few bottles of formula! :)
(a week later when she went in for her secound dose of shots, we chose to spread them out)

-----------------
Isla got some bling!! On her ears that is. My baby girl is getting so big, yesterday we pierced her ears after chickening out the other day. I think is hurt me more than it hurt her. If it was up to me I would've left her with one earring. Poor thing! But I must admit she looks so cute with earrings. Maybe now people will stop asking me "is it a boy or a girl"!!
Oh and she found her thumb and I think its the cutest thing in the world!

But back to my question..Where did my hairy armed, small belly, skinny legged baby go? I swear it felt like just yesterday she drowned in her coat and now I have to open the bottom so her legs can stretch(I refuse to buy another coat, its spring!!). I knew time would go by fast but never had I imagined that I would be sad to see it go just because I will never be able to go back to this. It is bitter sweet because I make new memories as time goes by, but you cant help but miss the old ones. That is why every chance I get I take pictures. So that I can go back to them and feel those moments all over again. As I do now.
